101.7 The Truth Official Contest Rules & Disclaimer

These Official Contest Rules (“Rules”) govern all contests conducted by 101.7FM The Truth, owned and operated by Milwaukee Black Media, LLC (“MBM”) and Civic Media (collectively, the “Station”), unless otherwise stated for a specific contest.

By participating, entrants agree to these Rules and the decisions of the Station, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.

Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated, contests are open only to legal Wisconsin residents who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of the Station, contest sponsors, affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate households or those residing in the same household are not eligible to win.

Prizes

Prizes are non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and may not be substituted except at the sole discretion of the Station. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, as well as any expenses not specifically included with the prize. Prize

Claim Requirements

Winners may be required to present valid government-issued identification and complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Publicity Release (where permitted by law) before receiving a prize.

Publicity Release

By accepting a prize, winners grant the Station the right to use their name, likeness, voice, city of residence, and photographs for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

Liability Release

Entrants release and hold harmless the Station, Milwaukee Black Media, LLC, Civic Media, contest sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from participation in the contest or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

General Conditions

The Station reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike, fraudulent, or disruptive manner. The Station also reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify any contest if fraud, technical failures, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control impair the integrity or proper administration of the promotion.
